Meet Our Team

Warmest greetings from the Blu Track® team!

We are a true team dedicated to providing quality toys for children, families and learning centers.  We love to see smiles and excitement as children of all ages experience the moment of discovery as they twist and turn the track to create their own races.

The same creative, collaborative spirit you see in classrooms using Blu Track is at the heart of our team. We’re a family of innovators, manufacturers, and problem-solvers who lend a hand to each other—and to our customers—every step of the way.

Randy Belding

Founder & CEO

Prior to going full time with Blu Track®, Randy spent 12 years in procurement and supply management for a Fortune 500 company. He is known as a creative, out-of-the-box thinker and holds two patents, one of which he earned in 2008 for Blu Track®. Randy and his business partner, Jeff Borland, have worked diligently to grow Blu Track®’s brand locally and internationally.

Randy has led Blu Track®’s transformation from a small family owned business operating from a home office to an 8,500 square foot (and growing) manufacturing plant in Anamosa, Iowa. When Randy hangs up his hat for the day (although he never stops thinking about the endless possibilities of Blu Track®!), you can find him golfing, hiking, trying new recipes and rooting for his alma mater, the University of Iowa Hawkeyes.

Jay Belding

Operations Manager

Jay was the inspiration for Blu Track®. He is Randy and Amy’s son and has been the primary track tester for Blu Track®’s research and development which started in his childhood living room. Jay has grown up – quite literally – in the business and has a hand in virtually all aspects. To name a few: Jay is in charge of all shipping, he is the facilities manager, he assists with all technology questions, he is the 3D printer idea follower, he is the forklift guy, and he still tests the tracks with the same excitement and imagination as he did 20 years ago.

Amy Belding

Communications Specialist

Amy is Randy’s wife and Jay’s mom. Amy has been behind the scenes since day one and has witnessed all kinds of Blu Track® experiments and play at home, in the yard, around the neighborhood and throughout the community.

With over 25 years of classroom teaching experience, Amy’s primary focus at Blu Track® is on the educational and accessibility aspects of our products. She also reminds us all that “it’s OK to try again” and encourages and inspires kids of all ages. While the primary expert for educational products, Amy is integral to Blu Track®’s operations. From coordinating schedules to leading customer service and managing marketing efforts, she keeps operations organized, efficient and connected. Her can-do approach, calm under pressure, and grace brings steady leadership to the crew.

In her spare time, she enjoys checking out libraries and adventures in the great outdoors with family and friends.
