Follow the quick instructions below to set up your Blu Track®!
Lay out your track
Unroll your Blu Track® so it is flat on the play surface.
Keeping safety in mind, choose your activity space. Unroll your Blu Track® so it is flat on the play surface. If you have extra length for your space, keep the end coiled up as way to help hold your track in place and to softly stop your races.
If your track seems to be curling more than you like, coil the track in the opposite direction. That should help straighten the track.
If your track has been stored for an extended period of time, it may be helpful to place the track in warm water for a few minutes to help soften the track and increase its flexibility.
Hang up your track
Secure the starting point of the track to a sturdy object.
After you’ve chosen a safe space to race, secure the start of your track to something stable. Use the suction cup on a window or counter or attach the hanger pad to a removable hook. You can also use a heavy hook, tie it around a doorknob, or even add weight to it!
IMPORTANT
Suction cups don’t work on all surfaces and work better when surfaces are clean.
Attach an anchor bar to your track and add weight to the tabs or secure by using surface-friendly tape to keep your track stable.
NOTE
The more your track moves, the more energy you're losing.
Move your track
Experiment with the slope of your track to change speed.
Pull the track away from the wall/support to change the angle of your car drop. The slope of the natural curve makes a difference in the speed the items can generate and maintain during the race.
